Nikki Boehmer

Nikki joined My Pit Bull is Family in 2019 after learning about our national housing database. She believes families belong together and that all animals deserve a forever home. In addition to serving as our National Volunteer Team Coordinator, Nikki also volunteers with Best Friends Animal Society, assisting with animal transports, adoptions, and events. She is also a board member for the R&R Partners Foundation, where she helps strengthen communities through employee giving, volunteering, and pro bono work. Nikki grew up in Minnesota but lives in Salt Lake City with her partner Dan and their dogs, Stilts and Charlie. She loves being within driving distance of a new adventure in any direction and spends her free time exploring National Parks, trying new vegan recipes, and fostering dogs.
