Lisa Silvus

Lisa joined My Pit Bull Is Family in 2019. The mission of our organization captured her attention since she had recently adopted a pit bull mix. When she saw how often her pup was discriminated against, she wanted to help change that! Lisa is originally from New York but moved to Florida, where she earned an Early Childhood Education degree from the University of Central Florida. Lisa now lives in Tennessee with her husband, human children, and fur baby. As a passionate animal lover, she volunteers with her local Humane Society and is involved with the Humane Society of the US. She spends her free time making vegetarian food, reading, and spending time with her family.
